RBCC and Advanced Systems Studies

ISSI has been performing advanced propulsion and vehicle system studies using RECIPE^©. Such studies have included rocket-based combine-cycle (RBCC), combined cycle propulsion (CCP), hypersonic design, fusion, and hypersonic aerodyncamics

RLV and Hypersonic Vehicles

ISSI and its partners have made significant contributions to design and analysis of 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen type vehicles. These analyses have been documented.

Nuclear Airbreathing Propulsion.

Applying tools developed at ISSI, Rob Adams (formerly of ISSI, now employed by NASA MSFC) performed research in applying fusion to air-breathing propulsion. His ISSI papers are presented here to demonstrate work carried on by ISSI.

Advanced WEB and Internet Publishing

ISSI has been working on advanced computer science applications in the area of applied documentation control, configuration management, and publishing using WEB and Internet access.
